It is unclear why there are delays in UIF Payments for many applicants, as the Department of Labour has not provided direct confirmation. However, it is assumed that these delays are a result of the Department's anti-fraud verification process.
It is crucial to adhere to the instructions of the Department of Labour by following the process.
In case you have exhausted all your options of following up with the Call Centre, it is recommended to visit the Department of Labour in person and speak with a consultant to determine the cause of the delay.
