The question of "How much will I get?" is commonly asked.
The Department of Labour operates on a credit system, with one credit earned for every four days worked. However, attempting to calculate your credits on your own can be confusing. Instead, contact the Department of Labour directly at 0800 030 007 or reach out to one of our UIF Specialists for assistance.
Above all, it is essential to inform the Department of Labour immediately if your job status changes and you return to work. Do not file a UIF claim in this situation.
